Bathing: Your pet will be bathed with a silicone- and paraben-free shampoo. The appropriate shampoo will be selected based on your pet's coat structure, colour and tolerance.

Blow-drying: To ensure your dog can relax during blow-drying, their ears will be protected with an Ear Buddy. The material is made of a stretchy fabric so that your dog does not feel restricted.

Clipping and cutting: Depending on the breed and your preferences, I will give your dog a short haircut or simply trim its body into shape.

Removing undercoat: Removing the undercoat is important to prevent or remove tangles or knots, which can cause skin irritation. After removing the undercoat, your dog's skin can breathe properly again.

Trimming: Dead hair is removed with a trimming knife or trimming stone. This procedure is painless for your dog and helps new hair to grow back strongly.

Eye and ear care: If necessary, the eyes are cleaned and cared for. The ears are cleaned with a nourishing and soothing ear cleaner. Certain dog breeds with curly fur may have more pronounced fur growth in the ear canal. To prevent matting and improve ventilation in the ear, the fur in the ear canal is carefully plucked before cleaning.

Claw and paw care: Finally, the claws are checked and trimmed if necessary. As puppies still have soft nails, these are only filed round with a nail file. Older dogs and those who are very relaxed are, of course, welcome to lie down for claw and paw care.

Teeth cleaning and dental care: Starting in November 2026, I will be offering professional dental cleanings for dogs. The newly developed ultrasonic toothbrush from emmi-pet operates without movement and is silent, effectively cleaning the teeth and removing plaque.

And finally: A few drops of Silk Coat give the coat lively volume and a silky shine.

Cats: Cats are also welcome, but of course they will not be bathed.
